Welcome to Trilby Movers! By accessing or using our services, website, or any associated products or services, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.


1. Services Provided

Trilby Movers offers residential moving, commercial moving, local and long-distance moving, and storage solutions. Specific details about the scope of each service are provided when booking.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Booking: A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your moving date and service. Payment terms will be outlined at the time of booking.
  • Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise specified in writing. We accept payment through credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash.
  • Additional Charges: Any additional charges that are incurred during the move (e.g., extra labor, waiting time, heavy lifting, etc.) will be communicated prior to charging.

3. Cancellations

  • Cancellation Policy: To receive a full refund of your deposit, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled moving date.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled move will incur a cancellation fee of 20% of the quoted moving cost.

4. Liability and Insurance

  • Basic Coverage: Basic liability coverage is included with all moves, which covers the transport of goods at a set valuation rate.
  • Additional Insurance: Additional insurance for high-value items can be purchased. We highly recommend securing this for fragile, expensive, or irreplaceable items.
  • Exclusions: Trilby Movers is not liable for damages to items packed by the customer, perishable items, hazardous materials, or items not listed in the inventory.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access: Customers must ensure that the moving location (either pickup or delivery) is accessible. Any restrictions (e.g., parking, staircases, narrow hallways) must be communicated in advance.
  • Inventory: Customers are responsible for ensuring that all items to be moved are listed and accessible for the movers.
  • Special Requirements: Any special items (e.g., pianos, artwork, fragile or sensitive equipment) must be disclosed before the move so we can arrange appropriate handling.

6. Prohibited Items

The following items cannot be transported by Trilby Movers:

  • Hazardous materials (chemicals, explosives, flammable items)
  • Perishable items (food, plants, etc.)
  • Animals or pets
  • Illegal substances
  • Firearms and ammunition
  • Valuables (e.g., jewelry, cash) unless specifically covered by insurance

7. Changes to Terms and Services

Trilby Movers reserves the right to update, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Florida.
